Pines and Prairies Land Trust and the Bastrop Economic Development Corporation (www.bastropedc.org) have partnered to bring some new wayfinding signs that direct visitors to the Colorado River Refuge in Tahitian Village. These new signs replace older, smaller, signs and feature the CRR’s logo of a heron, a common site in the refuge.
Many volunteers were responsible for getting this project together and PPLT wants to extend special thanks to the Friends of the Colorado River Refuge, as well as David Quinn of BEDC and Brenda Meuth, sign maker at the Bastrop Sign Shop. If you are looking for a great place to hike, bird-watch, and swim this summer, just follow the blue and white signs!
