Spark: Winner of the Texas Shorts Jury Award at SXSW!
A short film shot on the Billig Ranch in Bastrop, Texas
Billig Ranch, a Bastrop county property donated to PPLT in 2008, was used in a short film by UT graduate student and director Annie Silverstein. Annie approached us about using Billig in 2011 and we were happy to let others experience the precious landscape in Central Texas. The film is called Spark and is premiering at the 2012 South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas. Catch a show Tuesday, March 13th at 3:30 pm at the South Lamar Alamo Drafthouse or on Friday, March 16th at 5:00 pm at the Slaughter Lane Alamo Drafthouse.
