Nature Lesson - Signs of Fall (Tahitian Village Fire Station)

The LPNT-CRR are closed due to recent flooding and upcoming rain. Therefore the nature class will be held at the Tahitian Village Fire Station.

We are having the class at the Tahitian Village Fire Station.  To get there, turn in to Tahitian Village amongst all the construction and turn right at the street that is just after the convenience store (sorry I forgot the name, but there is no confusing it) It is a short distance down and you can see it on the right.

Remember the class is from 10:00 until Noon on Thursday, Nov. 5.  Contact me with any questions.  Thank you and we hope to see you then.  Marianna

Fall in Central Texas arrives later than in other parts of the country, and our changes are more subtle, but there are definite signs of the changing seasons. In our class on Nov. 5, we'll look for signs of autumn, discuss what causes our seasons, and do an experiment to discover why leaves of deciduous trees change color in the fall. Please bring pencils, blank paper, crayons, and a notebook, journal, or clipboard. I hope to see you then!
