Please join us for yet another workday at Yegua Knobbs Preserve to help restore habitat as part of a sitewide project. We will hand clear yaupon in sensitive habitat areas where we can’t use heavy machinery. Melanie will discuss the project on site.
Bring water, tools (loppers, chain and hand saws, cutting blade attachments on weed eaters, etc.) and wear long pants and shirts and closed-toe shoes. For reals. You’ll get scratched up if you don’t.
Please register here so I can prepare for the number attending and make sure you have good directions to the preserve. After registering, you’ll be automatically taken to our waiver, so please also fill that out for 2022 if you haven’t already done so!
