Amid growing concerns for our community's health we have decided to align ourselves with the CDC, Bastrop Independent School District and the Texas Department of Health and Human Services and support social distancing. With a heart full of rocks we are postponing our March 19th nature class. We can not say yet when it will be rescheduled and we can not say now whether our April or May classes will go on. We will keep you up to date! Please still go out to the Colorado River Refuge and enjoy hikes and explorations with your family- it is important to stay healthy and active.
Pines and Prairies’ FREE Nature Classes are back! Join us this spring at the Colorado River Refuge for a season of exploration and fun. In March we will be studying Rocks and Fossils! There will be a short classroom talk and then a fun activity and hike through the refuge. Please wear close toed shoes and bring a water bottle.
We are meeting at the outdoor classroom: 375 Riverside Dr, Bastrop, TX 78602.
10:00-12:00, please arrive on time so we can get started all together!
