March Nature Class at the Colorado River Refuge - Reptiles and Amphibians!

  • 375 Riverside Dr. Bastrop, TX 78602 (map)

CLASS IS FULL. BY REGISTERING BELOW, YOU WILL BE PUT ON A WAITING LIST.

Join us March 17th at the Colorado River Refuge for a morning outdoors studying reptiles and amphibians! For students 11 years and older, you will be focusing on snakes!

Pines and Prairies’ FREE Nature Classes are back this Spring! We will offer new topics each week with a lesson, hike and/or activity.

Due to a limited number of teacher volunteers, we are currently unable to offer classes more than once a month and each class is limited to 25 participating students. If we are able to recruit more teachers, we will update you.

Logistics:

Please wear close-toed shoes and bring water.

We are meeting at the outdoor classroom: 375 Riverside Dr, Bastrop, TX 78602.

Please arrive by 9:50 so we can begin promptly at 10:00. Classes go until approximately 12:00.

The health of you, your children and our teachers are of the utmost importance to us. Masks are now optional, but please respect everyone’s choice. If you, your children or anyone you have been in contact with has felt ill please stay home. If the circumstances change considerably before the class we may update our protocol.

Because these classes are offered FREE to the community, please consider making a donation to Pines and Prairies Land Trust to support programs and stewardship of the Colorado River Refuge!

The 25 student limit has been reached. By registering, you’ll be placed on a waiting list and notified if spots reopen.
