A rangeland plant ID field day will be held on May 28th at the Paige Community Center. This field day will introduce landowners to common central Texas grasses and broadleaf plants that may be beneficial or harmful to central Texas livestock producers and wildlife managers in the post oak savannah ecosystem. Field tour will be at PPLT’s Billig Ranch. Participants will also receive 2 general CEU's for pesticide applicator license holders from education in rangeland brush management and rangeland restoration.
Program registration with a $20 payment is due to the Bastrop County Extension office by May 21st. After which a $10 late fee will be added to late/on-site registration.
