Join agriculture specialists from the National Center for Appropriate Technology (NCAT), Holistic Management International (HMI), Black Gold Resources, and 100 Ranchers for an afternoon workshop about pasture restoration strategies and easy-to-use monitoring methods to help document change.
The workshop is set for Friday, September 20, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the S3 Legacy Ranch, 1320 San Marcos Highway in Luling, Texas. NCAT agriculture specialist Kara Kroeger and other experts will talk about ecosystem functions and soil health principles to improve pasture productivity, planned grazing to improve soil health, and monitoring progress of pasture restoration.
You'll also learn about identifying the key areas of your land to monitor, and have an opportunity to network with fellow grazers.
The event is free but registration is required. To reserve your spot or for more information, contact Kara Kroeger at 479-587-3479 or karak@ncat.org.
