Join us at the Colorado River Refuge/Bastrop County Nature Park for a morning outdoors learning more about birds! What are their habits, colors, songs and other sounds? We will take a hike and use binoculars to spot as many birds as we can in the nature park and preserve!
Our nature classes are geared towards ages 6- 16 and lead by our knowledgeable Lost Pines Master Naturalist volunteers. Classes are usually held on the third Wednesday of the month, with a break during the hottest summer months. We cover a different topic each month, and love to see families gather together and get to know each other at each class!
Logistics:
Please wear close-toed shoes and bring water (and snacks as needed)!
Meet at the outdoor classroom: 375 Riverside Dr, Bastrop, TX 78602.
Try to arrive by 9:50 so we can begin promptly at 10:00. Classes go until approximately 12:00.
