Meet us at the Colorado River Refuge/Bastrop County Nature Park for a morning outdoors learning about Texas Reptiles! We will discover fascinating facts out our local species and meet some reptile ambassadors including snakes and turtles! Also, keep your fingers crossed for some extra special (and extra BIG) reptile guests from around the world!
Our nature classes are geared towards ages 6- 16 and lead by our knowledgeable Lost Pines Master Naturalist volunteers. Classes are usually held on the third Wednesday of the month, with a break during the hottest summer months.
Logistics:
Please wear close-toed shoes and bring water.
Feel free to bring snacks or a picnic lunch!
Meet at the outdoor classroom: 375 Riverside Dr, Bastrop, TX 78602.
Try to arrive by 9:50 so we can begin promptly at 10:00. Classes go until approximately 12:00.
Plan to sign in when you arrive (Sign-in sheet includes liability waiver and photo release)
