Pines and Prairies Land Trust has teamed up with the Bastrop Public Library to bring you this special children’s book reading event at the Colorado River Refuge. Bring a blanket, listen to a fun and relaxing story reading and immerse yourselves in nature!
Carmen Serna from the Bastrop Public Library will read a few hand-curated stories and lead us in a song or activity to get our wiggles out in between.
Laurie Mason of Pines and Prairies Land Trust will then lead a short but sweet nature walk down the Dragonfly trail.
These book readings will follow a nature theme and are geared towards families and young children from toddlers to age 6, but big siblings are always welcome to join!
What to bring: a blanket to sit on, snacks and something to drink
