Like much of McDade and the surrounding areas, our Yegua Knobbs Preserve was hit hard by the February ice storm. Join us as we continue to work together to remove downed trees and large limbs from our roads, firebreaks and trails. On this work day, we will focus on clearing our beloved Sandylands trail.

No sawing abilities necessary - just a willingness to chip in and haul some limbs out of the way!

Bring water, tools (loppers, chainsaws, handsaws etc.) and please wear long pants and shirts and closed-toe shoes.

Please register here so we can prepare for the number attending and make sure you have good directions to the preserve. Keep an eye out for an email with more details prior to the work day.

After registering, you’ll be automatically taken to our waiver. Please fill that out for 2023, if you haven’t already done so. If you have filled it out this year, feel free to skip it!
