Winter Bird Survey At Billig Ranch Reveals New Species

Pines and Prairies Land Trust’s beloved “Bird Nerds” conducted the winter bird survey at Billig Ranch this month. Identified for the first time were three new birds: Pine Siskin, Golden-crowned Kinglet and Blue-headed Vireo. 92 different bird species have been observed at the Ranch, see the bird list below for a full inventory!
