Rescheduled - Books and a Blanket - Children's Outdoor Story Time

  • Dragonfly Trail Clearing 357 Lamaloa Ln Bastrop, TX, 78602 United States (map)

Pines and Prairies Land Trust has teamed up with the Bastrop Public Library to bring you this special children’s book reading event at the Colorado River Refuge. Bring a blanket, listen to a fun and relaxing story reading and immerse yourselves in nature!

Jackie Baez from the Bastrop Public Library will read a few hand-curated stories and lead us in a song or activity to get our wiggles out in between.

Pines and Prairies Land Trust staff, Laurie Mason, will lead a short but sweet nature walk through the nature preserve along the Dragonfly trail.

These book readings will follow a nature theme and are geared towards families and young children from toddlers to age 6, but older and younger siblings are always welcome to join!

This fall, our story time theme will be Trees.

What to bring: a blanket to sit on, snacks and something to drink
